I just wanted to thank you and give you and your staff my compliments on a job well done. The retirement party that my wife Anne helped arrange for my partner Dick was great. It was made even better by the good food and especially by the wonderful attitude of your staff.
Phoenix was a pleasure to interact with. She came across with a great attitude, and went out of her way to accommodate special requests, extra food, etc. without skipping a beat. Truly a pleasure to deal with people with such a positive attitude.

Thank you and your staff for their fine job! I know how hard it is to work in an environment where you are “camping” i.e. bring everything you need with you. But, you and your crew pulled it off beautifully. The meal was amazing, the service staff was very helpful and accommodating and very sweet.

All I can say is consistently amazing!! I used to work for the salon right next door to the events center, so when my husband and I decided to host our reception in Tacoma, Pacific Grill was a no brainer. The food, decor, and service were all second to none. Rebecca is an absolute gem who always puts her clients first and works her very hardest to make sure that they are happy. In addition to all of these wonderful things, the prices were fantastic. We were on a pretty slim budget and the staff carefully tailored our menu to fit within our means. They also went out of their way to decorate the room so that we didn't have to. I am so excited that we had the opportunity to use this venue for our celebration!! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We used Pacific Grill catering for our Tacoma Art Museum wedding and were very impressed. Our contact was Pattie, and after interacting with the other approved venue caterers, I didn't want to work with anyone else. Pattie was highly organized, responsive and helpful, which was definitely not the norm elsewhere! Our budget was on the smaller side and our wedding was later in the evening, so we went with a ton of hors d'oeuvres instead of a plated dinner. They were all delicious, with the stuffed mini-potatoes and proscuitto-wrapped asparagus being the favorites. Pattie was great about trouble-shooting any issues that arose. YELP 8/29/11

We recently held our wedding reception at the Pacific Grill Event Center and were blown away. Our contact (Rebecca) has been in constant communication over the last few months...and did an amazing job coordinating with the Marriott (where many of our guests stayed), Celebrity Cake Studio, and Adams DJ. By the time we arrived from our reception - the cake had been delivered, dj set up, etc. and we didn't have to lift a finger.
We opted not to have a plated dinner...but rather ordered LOTS of passed hors d'oeuvres. Rebecca was fantastic about sending us ideas and responding to our ideas. When we asked for a keg of hard to find specialty beer (7-Seas) from a local brewer she told us she could get anything we wanted...and did.
The evening was fantastic: the service, food, etc. at PG was all AMAZING. All of our guests were very complimentary of the food, and - especially - the staff. From the manager on duty to the bartender and wait staff - they were all nice and professional and very accommodating.
Our reception was Saturday night, and by Monday morning I had a recap email from Rebecca waiting for me. Our guests hadn't drank all the wine we ordered - so we have a small refund coming our way.
Aside from the service and food - the location was great. Having guests stay at the Marriott was super handy, and being next to the UWT, History/Art/Glass Museum, and Tollefson Plaza was nice for our guests.
All in all, i wouldn't think twice about recommending PG Event Center. YELP, Matt J., Tacoma, WA, 8/15/201

Thank you for your time today. I wanted to take a moment and share with you how much I appreciated the service your staff/servers/set-up folks provided Klemmer and Associates over this past weekend during the Personal Mastery Seminar. From the moment I arrived, everyone associated with your fine staff went over and above their responsibilities to insure that we/Klemmer and Associates had an amazing experience. In particular, I'd like to say that Mr Jon Cady - Catering Lead far exceeded any expectations and I have to add that he never flinched once with each curve that was thrown his way. All hotels should have a Jon Cady on staff. In addition, the food served on both Sat and Sun was affordable and delicious. Thank you.
In closing, Jon is an extraordinary representation of your hotel and I will highly recommend to Billy here at our offices to be sure we book our next meeting at the Marriott next time we are in Tacoma. To you and your great staff, have an great week.
